Go is a very old board game from China. This is the beginner version: the first player to capture stones wins.

How to play

Black goes first. Take turns putting one stone on a point where two lines cross.
The empty points next to a stone, up, down, left and right, are its breaths. Stones of the same colour that touch share their breaths.
If the other colour fills every breath, those stones are captured and come off the board.
You can't play where your stone would have no breaths, unless that move captures.
First to capture the number below wins.
